Applications are invited from Indian citizens for admission to the MBA Programme 2015-17. Application form, brochure and other information can be downloaded from NITK Website www.nitk.ac.in from 24.11.2014 and sent to the Asst. Registrar (Academic), NITK along with a D.D. for Rs. 600/- (in case of SC/ST, Rs. 150/-) drawn in favour of the Director, National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal, Srinivasnagar, payable at State Bank of India, Surathkal / Canara Bank, NITK Campus (DP Code 8517). Application without the D.D. for the required amount will not be considered. The last date for submission of completed application is 12.01.2015. For more details, visit www.nitk.ac.in.

Humanities, Social Sciences & Management : M.B.A. - Master of Business Administration (A Postg raduate Degree and NOT a Diploma)
Minimum Qualification / Eligibility for M.B.A. Programme
Full time Two year course (Four semester)
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a Recognized University with not less than 60% marks (or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 6.5 in the 0-10 scale grading system) in the aggregate taking into account the marks scored in all subjects of all the University examination conducted during the entire prescribed period of the degree programme. However, this prescribed minimum marks shall be 55% (CGPA of at least 6.0 in the 0-10 scale grading system) in the case of SC/ST.

CAT - 2014/GMAT* - 2014 Score
Admission is based on the valid Rank/Scores obtained in the CAT/GMAT – 2014, Group discussion and Personal Interview.

Admission to MBA Progamme by NITK Surathkal
M.B.A. : The selection for MBA programme is done separately by the Institute during February and is based on the criteria specified above.
The prescribed application form for MBA Programme can be downloaded from the Institute website www.nitk.ac.in. The application form can be duly filled and sent to the Assistant Registrar (Academic), National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal, Srinivasnagar, Mangalore - 575 025, Karnataka State on or before the last date prescribed 12.01.2015 along with a D.D. for Rs. 600/- (in case of SC/ST, Rs. 150/-) drawn in favour of the Director, National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal, Srinivasnagar, payable at State Bank of India, Surathkal / Canara Bank, NITK Campus (Canara Bank - DP Code 8517). Application without the D.D for the required amount will not be considered. Applications which are incomplete/defective/received late are liable to be rejected summarily and no correspondence will be entertained on such applications.

Provisional Fee Structure for M.B.A. Programme for the year 2014-15 (I & II year)
# Tuition fee for candidates admitted under DASA Scheme is US $2000 per year (SAARC Country US $1000) per sem. Tuition fee to be paid as Demand Draft in favor of "Director, NITK, Surathkal" payable at Mangalore in US Dollars. SC / ST candidates are exempted for payment of Tuition Fees.
Note : Students are requested to note that their Admission Number (All Numeric, 6 digits) is to be used for ATM payment.
Note : Refund of Fees :
Any student who withdraws admission before the closing date of admission is eligible for the refund of all the fees and deposits, after deduction of a processing fee of Rs. 1000 /- (Rupees One Thousand Only).
